We mobilised a combination of AGM staff and local subcontractors to each of these locations to complete the programme of works as scheduled. Communication was key in keeping all stakeholders in the loop; Project Manager, Harbour Masters, Port Managers, Contract Administrator and staff while updating the community inhouse SharePoint space.
Ticket offices remained in use requiring AGM to work behind the scenes and out of hours to phase these operations. The project includes refurbishment of the Ferry Terminal WC’s. We retained access to the DDA compliant WC while refurbishing the male and female WC’s in turn. We then refurbished the DDA WC overnight so customer access was unaffected. The supply chain included Assa Abloy, Rearo Laminates, Forbo, Armitage shanks and Hanex.
This has again demonstrated AGM’s ability to work smart and deliver on quality and time no matter the location. AGM have since bee instructed to a programme of supplementary works bringing the number of ferry terminals we have worked on to over 20.
